national joint stock insurance company "oranta"The National Joint Stock Insurance Company "Oranta" was founded on November 25, 1921. Since then and till 1993 the Company was known under the name of "Ukrderzhstrakh". At any time that organization played an undoubtedly important part in the life of society, being engaged in satisfying social and economic demands of the most general public. During its many years’ history the Company has gained high prestige and special confidence of its customers. Several generations associate the name of the Company with guaranteed protection and honesty.

The Company went through the change of its name (1993) and pattern of ownership (1993-1996), remaining the leader of the insurance market of Ukraine to this very day.

The end of privatization of the NJSIC "Oranta" gave rise to many progressive changes in the Company itself. The change of the pattern of ownership of the NJSIC "Oranta" made for the replenishment of the shareholders’ composition with a private investor, who brought to the Company new modern methods of management and conducting business.
