Founders of the festival are Slavutich Council, National Nuclear Power Company "Energoatom", the Ministry of Power Engineering of Ukraine, SSE Chernobyl NPP; Kiev Region State Administration, Ministry on the Issues of Family and Youth of Ukraine; Ministry of Culture and Creative Work of Ukraine, Government Committee of Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism of Ukraine.
Since 1996 festival "Slavutich Golden Autumn" has been conducted within the framework of the National Programme "The Children of Ukraine". The Project is implemented with the support of creative-informational agency "UN-PRESS".
Countries-participants are: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, France.
The festival participants are: young journalists, cameramen, editors and journalists of children’s newspapers and radio programmes and also participants of creative groups.
Publication of festival newspaper "Slavesta", conducting of newspaper and photo opening days, TV bridge "Slavutich – Richland", issuing of radio and television diaries of the Festival have become a tradition.
Mass media: leading periodical editions of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus.
ÕII International Festival of children’s creativity, television and press "Slavutich Golden Autumn" was conducted under the usual motto "I Want to See the World Happy". It is not the first time when Slavutich met guests from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus, NPP satellite-towns Yuzhoukrainsk, Nitishin, Energodar.
The next festival will be conducted in September 2006 under the motto "Ukraine is Me".
