Town Public Organisation "Small Business Laboratory" was created in 2002 as deliberate necessity to increase the speed of Slavutych social and economic development process, unite Town community, strengthen collaboration of the institutions of local governing, business and public organizations.


Small Business Laboratory" is non-profitable public organization whose main objectives are the following:

  • Promotion of the Town economy diversification through attraction of the residents, public organizations, enterprises, all structures of business support for the most complete use of natural, economic, labour, science-technical and other potential of the Region;
  • Intensifying of the processes of the Town social-economical development;
  • Creation of Hotlines for entrepreneurs and non-profit organisations;
  • Creation of probation base and the Centre of Stable Development of Small Ukrainian Towns.

"Small Business Laboratory" has successful experience in implementation of International Grant Programmes: BIZPRO, Fund "Charity Know How", UCAN.

During the period of work the partnership network has been created, the Contracts were signed between "Small Business Laboratory" and "Business Development Agency", Slavutych Fund of Business Support, Slavutych State Taxation Inspection, Club of Internet Users, Coordinative Council on the Issues of Youth, Employment Centre and other Town public organizations.

"Small Business Laboratory" has developed 5 informational brochures for entrepreneurs, guidebook for non-profitable organizations, 2 multimedia CD for entrepreneurs and non-profit organisations.

town public organisation "small business laboratory"Since June, 2002 "Hotline" for Slavutych and Kyiv Region entrepreneurs has been working on the basis of "Small Business Laboratory", which provides information on regulations and legal issues, consultations on the issues of reporting and taxaion system and also informs about the latest changes in legislation system.

During the period of existence of "Hotline" the operators have answered 3376 questions asked by Kyiv Region entrepreneurs, 23 training were organized and conducted where 310 entrepreneurs took part.

In June, 2004 "Hotline" for non-profitable organizations began to work on the basis of "Small Business Laboratory". During the period of working of the "Hotline", the operators answered 310 questions form different regions of Ukraine, relating to activity of non-profitable organizations, organized and conducted 2 training in which 34 representatives of non-profitable organizations took part.

"Hotline" for non-profitable organizations provide information about registration, reorganization and liquidation of non-profitable organizations. It also provides consultations relating to financial activity, social insurance, personnel management, management, taxation, reporting and audit of non-profitable organizations.
