On 29th September in Mskovsky kvartal, 12 the first General Practice ambulance opened. It is the beginning of the implementation of the Programme "Conceptions of the Family Medicine Development". According to the Head of the Medico Sanitary Station – 5 Shilenko V.M. it is foreseen to open seven more such medical establishments. But in accordance with the international principles doctor shall work as close to his patients as possible. He has to become the key figure of the whole primary health care. The aim of implementation of the family medicine is not only to provide medical assistance to the person who has applied to the ambulance station service but also in promotion of preventive programmes aimed at the keeping health.

Ukraine has recently I introduced significant legal reforms to enable it to position itself to realize its potential as an attractive market for foreign investors.

Supreme Council has passed as a basis in the first reading the law draft which brings changes and additions to the Law of Ukraine "About General Basis of the Further Operation and Decommission of Chernobyl NPP and Transforming of Destroyed ChNPP Unit 4 into Environmentally Friendly System".

Forecast In Respect Of Foreign Direct Investment

In the past there was little optimism regarding a significant upswing for foreign direct investment into Ukraine. The reasons were the perception of slow-pace reforms, not commensurate with pressing business needs, many reforms passed but not implemented, and the belief foreign investors’ experiences in Ukraine were in general negative.
