In accordance with the State Programme of Youth Business Support approved by Decree №536 of Council of Ministers of Ukraine from 12th June, 2002, Ukrainian Youth Public Organisation "Council of Young Entrepreneurs of Ukraine" with support of the State Committee of Ukraine on Issues of Family and Youth conducted Ukrainian Competition "Young Entrepreneur of the Year".

The objective of the conducting of the Competition is finding of the best young entrepreneurs and promotion of ideas of entrepreneurship among young people.
