Objective:

Providing of favourable organisational and economical conditions for development of small and middle business in Slavutich, increasing of competitiveness of the enterprises and companies through providing entrepreneurs with comprehensive support at every stage of organisation and functioning of enterprises, assistance in forming and development of infrastructure of small and middle business support structures, creation of new jobs on the territory of Slavutich.

Business Incubator was created as a separate subdivision of Municipal Enterprise "Slavutich Business Development Agency" (Decision of Executive Committee of Slavutich Council from 8th October, 1999) in accordance with "Programme of Small Business Development in Ukraine"

The Principle lines of Business Incubator activity:

• consultation on issues of organising and conducting of entrepreneurial activity;

• complex of economic services including carrying out of contract activities with suppliers of public utilities and maintenance, who serve the buildings of International Centre of Business Development "Slavutich –XXI Century" and Slavutich Incubator of Small Business;

• accounting services;

• e-mail and Internet;

• providing of communication services (telephone, fax);

• Xerox;

• providing with computer and printer for typing and printing of documents;

• organisation of meetings with potential partners and customers;

• services on searching of office and production premises;

• consultations and assistance in business planning;

• forming of package of orders, attraction of clients, searching of partners or suppliers;

• selection of staff for Business Incubator client companies.

Business Incubator resources:

• Business Incubator manages two buildings with total area 1372 m2;
• Business Incubator has in its disposal office equipment which is given for use to beginning entrepreneurs – Business Incubator clients – furniture, office equipment (computer, telephone, printer);
• Training class;
• Corporative network with Internet.

Business Incubator Client companies:

Since the beginning of the work by 08.11.1999 86 companies had become the clients of Business Incubator. 36 client companies were included in Business Incubator by 01.01.2005.

During 5 years of its existence Business Incubator of the Business Development Agency has been included in the list of 4 the best Ukrainian Business Incubators. 2,060 clients have allied to Business Incubator. 28 working places were saved and 307 new jobs were created within this period.
