In accordance with the conducted research the main prerequisites for further Slavutych region social and economic development are:

• Availability of materials and raw materials base
• Quality and quantity characteristics of Slavutych manpower
• Innovation mechanism, of the Town management

Local Authorities and Business Support structures conduct joint activities on introduction of social-economic mechanisms of business support and development in Slavutych in the framework of State and Town policy.

While analyzing of Slavutych resource potential the Town experts studied materials on research of the rating of social and economic development of regions and territories prepared by the independent experts from Institute of Reforms in 2004.

Analysing resource potential of Slavutych we can conclude that during the last 3 years after ChNPP closure general stable tendency of economic growth has been observed, which was demonstrated by increasing of number of subjects of entrepreneurship activity, growth of industrial production, existing dynamics of labour resources, high indicators of investment attraction, availability of modern scientific-technical base and scientific potential.
